The presence of Geopark Aras in the first international conference and specialized workshops of the UNESCO World Geoparks in Qeshm Island

Arusha National Geopark has been present as the second geopark for membership in the UNESCO World Geoparks Network at a meeting hosted by Qeshm Free Zone on May 8-10.
At the meeting, Ersh Kish Laroush, head of the UNESCO regional office in Iran, Morteza Bank, adviser to the president and secretary general of the Free and Special Economic Zones Patrick McCoy, secretary of UNESCO's Geospatial International Geosciences Program, Nicholas Zurros, Chief of the Global Geoparks Network UNESCO, Raziy Lak, the head of the Department of Geology and Mineral Exploration, and Alireza Amri Kazemi, director of Qeshm Global Geopark.
Morteza Bank, the advisor to the president and secretary general of the Free and Special Economic Zone, delivered a speech at the opening of the meeting, hoping that in the near future the Geoparks of the Julia Aras will join the network of geoparks in the world.
It is worth noting that at this meeting, while introducing Aras as the second geopark of Iran, an example of the measures taken in the exhibition section of the meeting was exhibited.
