The 16th conference of the Iranian Paleontological Society was held on October 25th at Tabriz University. The field visit of this conference was held on the second day in Aras UNESCO Global Geopark. Professors and students of different universities participated in this conference. The special guest of this conference was Dr. Qaderi, the head of the Iranian Paleontological Society. Dr. Qaderi has many contributions to the Alli-Bashi geosite (Permian-Triassic boundary), the most important geosite of Aras Global Geopark.
